  • Name and Gender: Collected to match users based on gender preferences and to help prevent fake identities.
  • Profile Image (Optional): Users may upload a profile image, which is used to enhance the user experience but is not mandatory.

• Chat Data:

• Chats: Chats between users are temporary and are automatically deleted once the chat ends. We do not store any chat content on our servers.
• Chat Requests: Users can send, accept, and delete chat requests. When a request is sent or accepted, users will receive push notifications to notify them of the activity.
• Messages: When one user sends a message to another user, the recipient will receive a push notification, ensuring they are informed of new activity, even when the app is not actively open or they are offline.

• Feed Post Data:

• Post Content: Users can upload images or text as posts to share with other users. This data is stored securely on our servers.
• Likes and Comments: When users like or comment on posts, the actions are recorded for functionality purposes and to display the appropriate feedback on the app. Users will also receive push notifications when someone likes or comments on their posts.
• Reports: Users can report inappropriate posts. Report data is reviewed to investigate and take necessary actions.

• Profile Viewing:

  • Users can view other users’ profiles to facilitate connections and send chat requests.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information for the following purposes:

• Account Creation and Management: To create and manage your account on Rapid Talk.
• Chat Matching: To match you with other users based on your selected preferences, such as gender.
• User Identity Verification: Gender and name are used to ensure the authenticity of user profiles and prevent the creation of fake accounts.
• User Reports: To allow users to report inappropriate behavior. Report data is used to investigate and take appropriate actions, but no chat data is retained.
• App Improvement: To improve the overall user experience by analyzing app usage.
• Push Notifications: To notify users when they receive, accept, or delete a chat request. Users also receive notifications for new chat requests, even when they are offline, ensuring they are always informed of new activities.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not share your personal information with third parties except in the following circumstances:

• Compliance with Laws: We may disclose your information if required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or a government agency).
• User Reports: If a report is filed against you, we may investigate and take necessary actions, but no personal data beyond the context of the report will be shared.

4. Data Deletion

• Automatic Chat Deletion: All chats are automatically deleted once they end. No chat history is stored or accessible after the chat session ends.
• Account Deletion: Users have the option to delete their account at any time from the app settings. When you delete your account, all personal information associated with your account, including your gender, name, and optional profile image, will be permanently deleted from our systems.
• Chat Requests: Chat requests are removed once deleted by the user.

5. User Reporting

• Reporting Inappropriate Behavior: Users can report others if they encounter inappropriate or irrelevant behavior. Reports are confidential and used only to improve the safety and experience of the app.

6. Security of Your Information

We prioritize your privacy and take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no electronic transmission or storage method is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

7. Feed Post Functionality

• Post Creation: Users can create posts with images or text to share on the app’s feed.
• Engagement: Other users can like or comment on posts.
• Post Deletion: Users can delete their posts at any time, and all associated likes and comments will also be permanently removed.
• Post Reporting: Users can report inappropriate posts. Reported posts are reviewed, and appropriate actions are taken to maintain the safety and standards of the platform.

8. Chat Request Functionality

• Profile Viewing: Users can view other users’ profiles to decide whether to connect.
• Chat Requests: Users can send, accept, or delete chat requests.
• Push Notifications: Users will receive notifications when a chat request is sent, accepted.

9. Children’s Privacy

Rapid Talk is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us to have it removed.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
