Child Safety Standards for Rapid Talk
At Rapid Talk, we take the safety of all users seriously. Since our platform is designed exclusively for users who are 18 years of age or older, we have implemented strict measures to protect users and ensure that the platform remains free from harmful content.
Minimum Age Requirement
- Rapid Talk is intended solely for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect or store personal information from anyone under the age of 18.
- If we discover that a user is under the age of 18, we will take immediate steps to delete that user's account and any related data.
Data Collection and Use
- Personal Information: We collect personal data such as email address, name, gender, and profile image. However, we do not collect any information from users under 18.
- Chat Data: Chats are temporary and are deleted automatically once the chat session ends. We do not store or retain chat data.
Content Moderation
- AI and Manual Moderation: We employ both automated and manual moderation to monitor and remove harmful content, ensuring a safe environment free of child sexual abuse and exploitation material.
- Reporting Mechanism: Users can report inappropriate content, and our team will review these reports promptly to take necessary action, including content removal and banning abusive users.
Parental Controls and User Consent
- As Rapid Talk is only available to adults aged 18 and over, parental controls are not required or implemented.
- We require that users affirm they are at least 18 years old when registering for the app.
User Identity Verification
- Profile Verification: We collect gender and name information to help ensure the authenticity of user profiles and prevent fraudulent accounts.
- Fake Identity Prevention: By collecting gender and name data, we work to avoid the creation of fake profiles that could potentially harm the user experience.
User Behavior and Interaction
- Chat Requests and Messaging: Users can send and receive chat requests. These interactions are temporary, and chat data is deleted once the session ends.
- Push Notifications: Users receive notifications when there is an update or interaction, but these notifications do not contain any personal information.
Prevention of Abuse
- Zero Tolerance Policy: We have a strict zero-tolerance policy against any form of abuse, including sexual harassment and exploitation. Any violations will lead to account suspension and reporting to relevant authorities if necessary.
- Partnerships: We collaborate with external agencies to ensure that Rapid Talk remains in compliance with child safety and CSAE regulations.
Changes to Child Safety Standards
- We continuously review our child safety policies and will update them as necessary to comply with the latest regulations. Users will be notified of any significant changes.
